These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the StarWise Kids mobile application ("the app"), operated by ygylabs. By downloading or using the app, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

1. Who may use the app

The app is intended for use by parents and guardians together with children aged 6–12. A parent or guardian must set up and supervise the app. By using the app, you confirm you are a parent or guardian agreeing to these Terms on behalf of yourself and any child who uses it.

2. License

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app for your family's personal, non-commercial use, subject to these Terms and the rules of the app store you downloaded it from.

3. Parental responsibility

You are responsible for supervising children's use of the app, for the habits and rewards you configure, and for approving completed tasks. The app is a motivational tool and does not replace parental judgment.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the app, including attempting to reverse engineer it, interfere with its operation, or use it in violation of any law.

5. In-app purchases and subscriptions

The app may offer in-app purchases and subscriptions (such as a Family subscription or removing ads). Purchases are billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play under their terms. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; manage or cancel through your app store account settings. Prices may vary by region and may change with notice.

6. Disclaimers

The app is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted or error-free.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

8. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. The "Last updated" date above reflects the latest version.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to ygylabs, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.
